What if you could design a structure, build it from start to finish, visit real worksites — and see your work come to life — all in eight days?

In this eight-day, immersive Construction Camp, students step into the role of builder and engineer. Campers will work in teams to plan and construct a backyard shed, while gaining practical skills in construction, teamwork, and project management.

Over the 8 days, participants will:

    • Plan and build their construction project from blueprints

    • Use tools and materials to build a backyard shed from the ground up

    • Learn construction techniques including measuring, cutting, framing, and roofing

    • Participate in on-site visits to observe professional construction projects in action

    • Experience project management and teamwork, from planning to execution

This camp is perfect for students who are creative, curious about building, interested in hands-on learning, or exploring careers in construction.

Plan it. Build it. Show it.

Strike an arc and build something that lasts! In this four-day, hands-on Welding Camp, students will learn foundational welding skills while constructing their own 2’ x 3’ steel welding table — a professional-grade project they’ll take home at the end of the week.

Campers will be introduced to shop safety, welding equipment setup, measuring and layout, cutting processes, and multiple welding techniques. Throughout the week, they’ll square, tack, weld, and finish their table while learning why precision, preparation, and craftsmanship matter in the skilled trades.

This isn’t just practice — it’s real fabrication. Each student will:

    • Learn welding safety and proper PPE use

    • Read and interpret a basic fabrication plan

    • Measure, cut, and prepare steel materials

    • Weld and assemble a 2’ x 3’ welding table

    • Finish and prepare their project for transport

By the end of camp, students won’t just walk away with new skills — they’ll leave with a durable welding table they built themselves. The value of the finished table often meets or exceeds the cost of camp, giving participants a true return on their investment in both equipment and experience.

Perfect for beginners or students interested in trades, engineering, or hands-on careers, this camp builds confidence, technical skill, and pride in craftsmanship.

Build it. Weld it. Take it home.

Get ready to spark curiosity and creativity! This four-day, hands-on summer camp introduces students to the exciting world of metalcasting.

Campers will learn the fundamentals of metalcasting — from designing molds to safely pouring molten metal — and will create their own cast projects to take home. Along the way, they’ll explore the science, technology, and skilled trades that power today’s industry.

In addition to lab activities, students will tour local industry partners to see real-world manufacturing in action. These tours give campers a behind-the-scenes look at career opportunities and advanced technology used right here in our region.

This camp is perfect for students who enjoy building, creating, problem-solving, and working with their hands. No prior experience is required — just curiosity and a willingness to learn!

What if you could design a process, build a product, sell a product — and make a profit — all in one week?

In this four-day, hands-on Manufacturing Camp, students will step into the role of entrepreneur and manufacturer. Campers will work in teams to brainstorm product ideas, design prototypes, plan their manufacturing process, and calculate production costs. They’ll learn how pricing, efficiency, marketing, and quality all impact profitability.

From concept to customer, participants will:

    • Design and plan the manufacturing process

    • Produce their product using hands-on equipment and tools

    • Create a sales and marketing strategy

    • Sell their finished goods

At the end of camp, students will experience a true return on investment — earning back a portion of the proceeds from the products they manufacture and sell. It’s a real-world lesson in innovation, teamwork, budgeting, and business fundamentals.

This camp is perfect for students who are creative, competitive, curious about business, or interested in how products are made and brought to market.

Learn it. Build it. Sell it. Profit from it.

Campers will need to have attended a previous welding camp to participate.
